The multi-pocket bag design maximizes filtration surface area within a standard filter frame — providing lower pressure drop and significantly longer service life than flat-panel filters of the same frame size, extending the service interval of downstream final filters.
Pre-filter bags are positioned upstream of final filtration to capture coarser paint particles, extending the service life of downstream HEPA or fine media final filters by 3-5x in high-production environments.
