The 3M 33285 Perfect-It Black Foam Polishing Pad is a double-sided 6-inch foam pad designed for the intermediate polishing step — after compounding and before final finishing. Black foam formulation provides a medium polishing cut to remove compounding swirls and light scratches while leaving a high-gloss surface that's ready for inspection or a final ultrafine step.
The Quick Connect backing system allows fast, tool-free pad changes on compatible 3M polishers, keeping production moving. Double-sided design doubles pad life. Use with 3M Perfect-It EX Machine Polish (06094) for optimal results on clearcoat surfaces.
