The 3M 30042 Perfect-It Black Foam Polishing Pad is a single-sided 4-inch foam pad sold 2 per bag, designed for polishing small panels and tight areas with a mini or compact DA polisher. Black foam formulation delivers a medium polishing cut to remove compounding swirls and refine the surface to a high-gloss finish.
Use after a wool compounding step with 3M 30040 pads, or after machine compounding on small sections. Hook & Loop backing mounts securely to Hookit backup pads. The 2-bag pack value keeps production-level supplies on hand for the whole crew.
