Product Description
The 3M 26458 PPS Series 2.0 Shaker Core allows paint to be mixed and shaken directly inside the sealed PPS 2.0 disposable cup — eliminating the need for a separate open mixing container, reducing solvent exposure during mixing, and keeping the paint sealed and uncontaminated from mixing through spraying.
Without a shaker core, metallic and pearl basecoats must be mixed in an open cup or shaker attachment, then transferred into the PPS liner — a step that introduces contamination risk and solvent evaporation. The Shaker Core eliminates this step: mix in the cup, seal the lid, shake, and spray. Used in production refinish environments where minimizing solvent exposure and contamination is both a quality and regulatory priority.
